Safety at our railway
Help us keep you safe!
While on our railway we have some rules to help keep everyone safe!
Hopping on
- Step over the carriage, placing one foot on the ground either side of it.
- Sit down.
- Put your feet on the foot boards
Remain Seated
Once on the train:
- Remain seated at all times.
- Keep small children on the carriage in front of you or hold them tightly against your chest.
- Don’t rock the carriage.
- Face forward, in the direction of travel.
- Keep your feet on the foot boards.
Do not lean out
Once on the train:
- Leaning out is strictly prohibited.
The wheels on our miniature trains are a lot closer together than their full-size counterparts, so leaning out may derail the train, or you could fall off.
NO Photos or Videos
While the train is in motion:
- No Photos or Videos from any device.
- Leaning out is strictly prohibited.
We aren’t top secret – we just want you to be safe. Leaning out to grab a snap can lead to you going off balance, and falling off or derailing the train.
Leave the fauna!
While the train is in motion:
- Please leave any close by trees, fauna, bushes etc alone – they have feelings too!
- If you are travelling close to another train, or friends are standing near – don’t reach out to them.
- Leaning out is strictly prohibited.
Again, we don’t want you to get hurt. Nearby objects can pull you and others, off the carriage or derail them.
Keeping it safe
We don’t want you falling off, hurting yourself or others:
- Follow the rules and directions of our team.
- Respect other passengers.
- In the unlikely event of an incident, remain calm, and follow the directions of our drivers and team.
We provide these rules and instructions to keep you, and the other passengers onboard the train safe.
Before you attempt to disobey our rules, think about the consequences of your actions on others.
